A Prayer a Day for East Asian Peoples

Japanese churches have more senior adult members than young families, students, or children. Many Japanese people have not heard about Jesus, met a Japanese Christian, or been given the opportunity to read the Bible. Senior members of one church are learning how to share their testimonies and how this impacts their lives. Christians and other senior adults gather to sing and listen to one another’s testimonies—an evangelistic outreach that any church can do to encourage people of this age group. In addition, senior adults can get into day care facilities and nursing homes with ease.

Pray this kind of evangelistic thinking will permeate churches in Tokyo. Pray more pastors will see the potential of senior adults in their churches and encourage them to reach outside church walls. Ask the Father to add more senior adult Japanese to his kingdom.
